Meet the Speaker: Marissa Adams, Managing Director, Regional Head of Global Trade Solutions, Europe and Americas, HSBC Group Management Services Ltd.
Marissa Adams is an experienced Corporate and Institutional Banking professional with an extensive background in transaction banking, client coverage and transformation. Marissa was appointed in February 2025 as HSBC’s Regional Head of Global Trade Solutions (GTS) for Europe and Americas. She leads a team of over 500 Trade Finance professionals who deliver global working capital solutions for clients headquartered on either side of the Atlantic. Previously, Marissa led the GTS Americas team developing deep sector verticals and new innovative working capital structures for clients across the region. Prior to senior leadership roles in GTS, Marissa led HSBC’s International Subsidiary Banking business on the US West Coast where her team developed strategic financing solutions for subsidiary clients, including structured working capital facilities.
Earlier in her career Marissa worked in Europe and Asia leading teams to deliver market leading working capital and transaction banking solutions for multinational clients. Marissa speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish fluently, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
