BritishAmerican Business Welcomes Signing of the UK's Seventh Memorandum of Understanding with the state of Florida

The UK Government has signed its seventh state-level MoU with the state of Florida.

Welcoming the signing, BritishAmerican Business CEO Duncan Edwards said:

鈥淭oday鈥檚 new agreement with the state of Florida, the fourth largest economy in the US, is a big step forward in the UK Government鈥檚 state-level MoU programme.

鈥淚t is without a doubt the most significant MoU to-date and a great win for transatlantic businesses.

鈥淔rom Miami to Tampa and Orlando to Jacksonville, the state of Florida offers huge potential for UK businesses whether it be in financial services, life sciences, agriculture, technology and space. Today鈥檚 MoU will also help attract more investment into the UK from Florida based companies.

鈥淎s I travel around the country, I am seeing first-hand the impact of state-level engagement and how it is delivering benefits for businesses as well as local communities. We hope to see many more UK companies choosing to expand in the Sunshine State soon.
